consumed by an endless search that determined his fate
WHO IS DANNY SUSTER?
Danny Suster is a Jewish American author who is resilient in the face of overwhelming adversity. He was educated at New York University where he earned his BA and MPA in Public Administration/ Health Care, and continued a career in the field of health care. Danny is a husband and father who lives in Aventura, Florida. He is the recipient of a National Scholastic Gold Medal for Oil Painting.
WHAT IS THE BOOK ABOUT?
Danny has endured life experiences that anyone who suffers from trauma or struggles with unfulfilled choices from their past can relate to. It’s filled with ways to overcome life’s challenges. ‘Chasing the Mongoose’ follows the life of Danny Suster, from birth to a teen struggling with identity, from government reformer to prison and back. Suster details the history of his outlaw years and his relationship struggles with family and friends. Depression and mental illness permeate the stories that are revealed.
“Your conception was accidental. Ever since it happened, Mom wanted a girl.”
These are some of the words of rejection Danny would hear from an early age. He didn’t ask to be here, and handling life’s daily challenges did not materialize as he hoped. Such poorly timed messages set the stage for the unloved Baby Boomer to be consumed by mental anguish that determined his fate.
Loaded up with the guilt of his birth, Danny turned to a lifetime search for unsolicited love. He conditioned himself to become a White Knight. Recognition and admiration became the goal since the essence of love was misunderstood. From the office of young Chuck Schumer to the Assistant Dean of Ross University School of Medicine, everything seemed to be going according to plan until he was suddenly missing in action.
